Goldstein EQ, led by founder Samuel Goldstein, is a real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition, syndication, and repositioning of real estate assets in Ohio.

Since its inception in 2017, Goldstein EQ has completed approximately $22 million in real estate and debt transactions. Under Samuel’s leadership, the firm built and exited a residential portfolio of 184 units across multifamily and residential 1–4 unit properties. Many of these assets were acquired in the $30,000–$60,000 range and later sold at values exceeding $100,000. In Northeast Ohio, Goldstein EQ acquired $6.6 million of residential real estate that was later sold or appraised at $10.4 million, supported by only $587,000 in upfront capital expenditures.

The firm’s track record demonstrates expertise in identifying undervalued opportunities, structuring investments, and delivering long-term value creation for investors while strengthening the communities it serves. While the majority of Goldstein EQ’s work has been within the residential and multifamily sectors, the company is affiliated with ERE Development and MedVest RE which pursue acquisitions of an array of commercial real estate asset classes. These entities are active in the acquisition and disposition of small and mid-sized operating companies and medical/dental practices as well.

Samuel Goldstein
Samuel Goldstein is a real estate investor, developer, and entrepreneur active across multiple asset types and markets.
​
A Beachwood, Ohio native and graduate of Binghamton University in 2013, he began his career in real estate and finance with Meridian Capital Group, Rocket Mortgage, and GCP Capital Group, gaining a strong foundation in capital markets, deal structuring, and client relationships.
​
In 2017, Samuel founded Goldstein EQ, initially as a commercial and business debt brokerage that quickly evolved into a real estate investment platform focused on multifamily and single-family assets in Ohio. Since then, he has transacted on more than $22 million in real estate and notes, building and selling a residential and multifamily portfolio of over 180 units.

Samuel also leads Easy Property Management, which oversees a large residential portfolio across Northeast Ohio, and ERE Development and MedVest RE, which are active in ground-up development, commercial repositioning, and the acquisition and disposition of medical, dental, office, residential, and light industrial properties and operating companies. MedVest also focuses on stabilized single-tenant medical office investments and sale-leasebacks with healthcare operators.

Known for creative deal structuring, Samuel consistently finds ways to make transactions possible where others see roadblocks. His asset class agnostic approach and hands-on execution continue to drive strong returns and lasting partnerships.

Outside of business, Samuel is active in the Jewish community through Chabad and various local organizations.
